About WLPS

Waikerie Lutheran Primary School is a school of the International Baccalaureate offering the Primary Years Program from Foundation to Year 6. Established in 1979 by the Waikerie Lutheran Parish, Waikerie Lutheran Primary School is located less than a kilometre from the township of Waikerie. The school is surrounded by a quiet suburb and vineyards; providing an ambience that is conducive to learning. The families that attend our school come from diverse backgrounds ranging from farming to professional.

The school is set over three hectares of land between McCutcheon and McIntosh Streets, in Waikerie. These grounds include a sheltered seating area for the children, a tree lined grassed area, fitness circuit, adventure playground, hard surfaced courts and oval.

The classrooms are well appointed and are equipped with iPads and portable MacBooks for student use. We also have a dedicated Artroom, Learning Support Hub and Activity Hall.
